# \[How to article\] Takedown Phishing Domains/URLs on Hostinger

How to report malicious domains that are registered through Hostinger.

**Step 1:**

Navigate to [Report Abuse](https://www.hostinger.com/report-abuse)

**Step 2:**

Please select the abuse type that the domain is used for.

**Step 3:**

Here we have selected “Phishing” as an abuse, and we will now fill up other details like:

**Name** : YOUR NAME

**Your Email** : YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS, where you will receive the updates from Hostinger.

**Abuser Website** : Please paste the actual website that you want to report.

Step 4:

Create a small report that explains your concern on why you’re reporting the domain and what resolution you are expecting from them.

Example:

The reported URL is a phishing site of (YOUR BRAND), and actively targeting my customers/users into a phishing attack.

Please note that my legit URL is: [www.YOURDOMAIN.com](http://www.YOURDOMAIN.com)

Malicious URL: [www.abcdefg13.com](http://www.abcdefg13.com)

I kindly request you to please suspend the malicious domain.

**Step 5:**

Now we just need to click on the “Send” button and our takedown request will be submitted to Hostinger.

**NOTE:**

- They will send a general acknowledgment with a ticket number to the email address that you have submitted.
- Please allow them 72 business working hours before reaching out to them again.
